Modern choirs for people who love to sing

One inChoirer looks back...

"I joined inChoir Haywards Heath in 2013 having met them in February on the stage at the Capitol Horsham where inChoir were singing with Blake.

Crazily, I had pledged on Blake’s new album to sing with them, and after 3 months of singing lessons and one quick rehearsal, I stood with them to sing a duet.  It was by no means perfect but what an amazing night it was. As I came off the stage to rapturous applause in the wings was inChoir, they were all so lovely and complimentary. The finale was Up Where we Belong which both myself and inChoir sang with Blake.  As we walked off the stage I met Mark and of course, never missing an opportunity to get new members, he told me all about inChoir.

Coincidentally, two male friends of mine were already members at Haywards Heath so I didn’t need much persuasion to go along.

From that first night to this, being a part of inChoir has brought so much joy to my life, and if I have been feeling low, going along to inChoir soon puts a smile back on my face.  I got the opportunity to go back and sing with Blake with inChoir at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath and experience another very memorable moment.

Two bucket list experiences for me were the QE2 holiday to Bruges, I really thought I was on the Titanic, and of course the Minack last year.  Despite the weather not being great, the rain held off and the ambience of the sea crashing against the rocks and day turning into night, the audience wrapped up in rugs, was truly one of those magical days I will never forget.

Thank you inChoir and to all the lovely people I have met."
