Modern choirs for people who love to sing

inChoir wow festival goers at The Edinburgh Fringe

Around 50 inChoir members were thrilled to perform at the most famous arts festival in the world over a long weekend last weekend. Yes that's right, we sang at The Edinburgh Fringe! We performed three times, twice outdoors on the Mercat Stage in The Royal Mile, and once in the gorgeous surroundings of St Giles' Cathedral. The acoustics in the cathedral are amongst the best we've ever experienced, and the sound was as beautiful as the location. We got lots of lovely feedback from our performances, and received the following message on our website from one of the many many people (from all over the world) who came to see us sing.

"On my last in Edinburgh i hade the great pleasure to enjoy your concert at st.giles, your voices are beautiful to bad the time went bye to fast and i had to get to the airport, but the concert left me with a soft fuzzy feeling . Thank you very much. sincerely karin"

As well as the singing, we had a great time in Edinburgh; we went to see The Royal Tattoo in the castle, we had a whisky tasting dinner, and we went for a tour of the royal yacht, Britannia. Plus in their free time, the inChoirers went on open top bus tours, went on walking tours, watched the street performers, took in various Fringer productions, and even enjoyed an occasional Liquid Lunch.

And if all that wasn't enough, apart from a few spots of rain when we arrived, the sun shone the whole time!
