Modern choirs for people who love to sing

£10,000 raised for charity

It's been a very busy time for members of inChoir recently. Around 50 of them have just been singing and sight-seeing in Tuscany, whilst another group entertained the crowds at The Crowborough Fun Day on Saturday. But if there's one thing that inChoirers love more than singing, it's singing AND raising money for good causes, so I'm delighted to be able to tell you that on Saturday, a group of inChoir members sang with some other acts at The Orchards Shopping Centre in Haywards Heath and a total of over £3,700 was raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital. And the picture on the right shows a group singing at The Station Pub in very sunny Nutfield on Sunday, where in excess of £1,000 was raised for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. All in all, a very charitable and enjoyable weekend! Add to that a performance last week on Bank Holiday Monday at Oxted Open Gardens, where a total of £5,250 was raised for the One World charity. A great effort from all concerned.
