inChoir inConcert at Christmas

We have four Christmas concerts lined up for this year's festive season. What better way could there be to get your Christmas off to a good start than going to see you local inChoir members with a Christmas cracker of a selection of new songs, old songs, new jokes*, old jokes, Santa hats, jingling bells and reindeer antlers. The four dates and venues are as follows.

1.  Wednesday 18th December at Hurstpierpoint College in The New Bury Theatre at 7.30 pm. Featuringr choir members from Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath (day and evening) and Shoreham.

2.  Thursday 19th December at The Charis Centre in Crawley at 7.30 pm. Featuring choir members from Crawley, Dorking, Horsham and Redhill.

3.  Saturday 21st December at The Jubilee Community Centre in East Grinstead at 7.00 pm. Featuring choir members from East Grinstead (day and evening) and Oxted.

4.  Sunday 22nd December at Uckfield Civic Centre at 7.00 pm.  Featuring choir members from Crowborough, Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield.

Profits from all of these shows will be donated to local charities, so not only will the evenings be great fun, but it's all in a good cause, and tickets are just £8!

Sounds great, right? So how do I get my tickets?, we hear you ask. Well, it couldn't be simpler. If you or somebody you know is an inChoir member, tickets are available at your next inChoir session. Alternatively get in touch by calling Sue on 01342 713068, or emailing her on

* Editor's comment: there will be no new jokes. They'll all be old ones!

"I joined inChoir to have a chance to learn and sing popular songs. We have good fun, and there is no pressure to perform – yet I find that performing our songs gives a ‘buzz’!"

"Brilliant night singing at The Hawth with Inchoir - on a high now and don't want to go to bed yet."

"inChoir is a fun place to be, and we have quite a few laughs. I enjoy the variety of songs we sing, and love to take part when we sing to the public."

"what an AMAZING inChoir concert! Sold out the Hawth, great audience, wonderful band....and I remembered all the words to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (fastest trio ever!). Fab night xx"

"I am very enthusiastic about inChoir.  Actually, it is quite hard not to be with such a lively and encouraging conductor!  The rehearsals are fun, and at times, challenging as we sing popular songs, arranged specially for inChoir in 3, 4 or 5 part harmony."

"I find it relaxing and fun. There is never any pressure (which is so important). It is lovely to meet familiar faces but also nice to meet new people. I’ll always be grateful to a friend from Haywards Heath for encouraging me to go along with her."

"Wow! Fantastic night singing in concert with InChoir tonight at The Hawth. Im still buzzing! It sounded amazing with the band, especially bohemium rhapsody! Thank you Mark Hepell and Karen Xx"

"I don't really know what to say that's not already been said, but well done everyone, and thank you to inchoir for giving me my singing confidence back again!! xx"

"A friend recommended singing as an aid to fighting depression as singing with other people can be a very uplifting experience. Its great fun, we have lots of laughs with the choir leaders and for me it is the high spot of my week."

"The choir came into my life when I was having a rough time and it's given me so much joy and laughter, singing is so therapeutic, and like you it is a great passion of mine. "

"How amazing to be part of such a big and fantastic choir! Many thanks to Mark and Karen and everyone who helped to make it happen!"
